Mushroom Compost
> With Soil Booster!
COMPONENTS: Wheat straw, manure, cotton seed hulls,
cotton seed meal, peat moss, lime, gypsum, urea 43%
nitrogen
 
RECOMMENDED USES: Mushroom Compost has a high
water and nutrient holding capacity and exhibits
no nitrogen draw down problems.  As a fertilizer
and soil amendments for farming, Mushroom
Compost supports plant growth in a variety of plant applications such as corn, pumpkin, tomato and potato yields.
 
Mushroom compost supports plant growth of hays from orchard grass, timothy, reed canary grass, tall fescue and brome grass.
 
As a fertilizer and soil amendments for lawn care and landscaping, Mushroom Compost supports plant growth.
 
In potted plants, add a layer of Mushroom Compost on top of soil.  This will fertilize your plants every time you water.
 
AVAILABILITY:
Top Soil Blend
COMPONENTS: Hardwood bark fines, mushroom
compost and sand.
 
RECOMMENDED USES: Work this mixture into the
soil to increase the volume of organic matter and
to improve soil tilth and permeability.
 
AVAILABILITY:
Soil Conditioner
COMPONENTS: Shredded, screened pine bark.
 
RECOMMENDED USES: Use this product to amend your
planting areas.  Barky Beaver's Soil Conditioner is
great for acid-loving plants such as azaleas,
rhododendrons, and roses.  It can also be used as
a mulch in areas where a finer texture is desired.
 
AVAILABILITY:
Landscape Mix
COMPONENTS: Hardwood bark fines, pine bark fines,
peat moss and sand.
 
RECOMMENDED USES: Use as an amendment for
poor soils.  This mix can be used to enrich beds or
as a backfill mix where trees and ornamental
plants are used.  Barky Beaver's Landscape Mix
improves soil permeability so that roots can get
off to a good start.  It also maintains a good balance between moisture retention and proper drainage.
